I would like to tell you a few things about myself.  I was born and raised in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and moved to Hereford, Texas in 1982. I graduated in 1986 and attended West Texas State University. I am married to Keith and we have three children, which include a set of twins.  I, myself am also a twin.  When you hear the saying “twins skip a generation”, in my case this is not true.  I am lucky enough to have 5 sets of twins in my immediate family.  I have 2 great uncles, an aunt and uncle, 2 cousins, myself and my own children that are twins.   My sister and I are identical and are alike in many ways as are most twins.  I hope to have twin grandchildren some day.   I was a stay at home mom after my twins were born and returned to work when they started attending St Anthony’s school.   When they started school, I was fortunate enough to get a job at the school working as a part-time teachers aide. This allowed me to keep busy, yet still have time for my children.  When the position of PE teacher became available, I felt like the job was perfect.  I was still able to be available for my kids and have an opportunity to teach physical education to the students at St Anthony’s.  I have always had an interest in, or some may say, obsession with exercise and eating healthy. I have run several runs of varying distances, and participated in various endurance bike rides. I realized at an early age the importance of good health and exercise and wanted to pass this along to the students.  I have been teaching PE for 5 years and have loved every minute of it.

Like all teachers, as the PE teacher, I hope to inspire all the students.  The inspiration may be a bit different than academic teachers but I have the same goal in mind, to have the students do their very best and enjoy it at the same time.

It has been a privilege and true blessing to teach at St Anthony’s.  The students are taught good, strong Christian values and it’s a pleasure to watch them grow into young adults, knowing they can conquer the world.
